On 25th December, ‘Expanding in Both Directions and Setting Sail’ Deyang City Enterprises Going Overseas Training Meeting was held in Deyang City Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park. The event was guided by Deyang City Bureau of Commerce and organised by Sichuan DeMao Technology Development Co.

The training mainly focused on export credit insurance, international express logistics, foreign-related legal risks and other areas of knowledge popularisation, and invited relevant professionals from China Export Credit Insurance Corporation, Sinotrans DHL and Deyang City Enterprises Foreign-related Legal Service Centre.

First of all, as the operator of Deyang City Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park, DeMao Technology brought the theme of "Creating a Foreign Trade Ecosystem, DeMao Helps Enterprises to Sail to the Sea" to share with the audience.

Deyang city foreign comprehensive service platform has introduced 24 service providers, built a relatively perfect foreign trade service system, has for the city's foreign trade enterprises to provide customs clearance, logistics, warehousing, finance, tax rebates, training and other services. The platform is the first and only foreign comprehensive service platform in the province that realises data interface docking with Sichuan Single Window, which has significantly improved the efficiency of customs declaration.

At the same time, DeTrade Technology also undertakes the function of training and incubation. In the past six months, it has organised a total of 11 various docking sessions and training sessions, with more than 320 enterprises and 790 person-times participating in the activities.

Subsequently, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation raised the awareness of international trade risks through a practical case, and put forward practical risk avoidance strategies in a targeted manner. At the same time, the site provides enterprises that meet the requirements to apply for free insurance policies on the provincial government platform.

Next, Sinotrans DHL carried out international logistics core dry goods sharing. Mr Zhang told us about the ‘traps’ often encountered in choosing logistics partners, emphasised the importance of suitability, and brought information on trade opportunities in countries along the ‘Belt and Road’, which is conducive to better expanding the foreign trade market.

Finally, Deyang Foreign Legal Service Centre told us, through case studies, that when cooperating with foreign companies, it is important to assess the risks comprehensively and make decisions strategically to ensure that you can win in the complex and changing international trade environment.

The training also set up a 1V1 service docking session, including docking of foreign comprehensive service platform, legal consulting services, on-site handling of free insurance policies for provincial government platforms, etc., to solve problems for enterprises from a practical point of view.
